Entrance Awards Program
51视频 is pleased to offer a suite of awards, scholarships and bursaries to incoming students including:
- Donor-funded entrance awards
- Automatic entrance awards
- Schulich Builders: Scholarships for Skilled Trades
- 2025/26 International $2,000 entrance scholarship
Make an informed decision about your choice of school and program of study including financial consideration such as free money through awards, scholarships and bursaries.
Donor-funded entrance awards
As a new student starting your studies in Fall 2026 or Winter 2027, apply for over 150 donor-funded awards with a total value of over $300,000 through one application! The application portal will be open from March 15 to May 15, 2026.
Get prepared and you will be notified before the June 15 deposit deadline.

51视频offers a variety of Automatic Entrance Awards for domestic students 鈥 all you have to do is confirm your offer to an eligible program by May 1 and you will be entered into a lottery. All successful applicants will be notified by email.

Anyone who confirms an offer to a new 51视频program by May 1 will be entered into a lottery for $3000
- 15 awards available
Anyone who confirms an offer to an eligible degree program with a combined minimum non-weighted average of 75% by May 1 will be entered into a lottery for an amount based on GPA
- 20 awards available
- Open to direct from high school applicants only
- There is 1 lottery winner per GPA bracket for each program
- Eligible degree programs:
- Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (Automotive Management) (BBAA)
- Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (Management and Leadership) (BBML)
- Honours Bachelor of Interior Design (BAID)
- Honours Bachelor of Police Studies (BAPS)
- Honours Bachelor of Counselling Psychology (HBCP)

Current students who apply and confirm an offer to another program through the 51视频 Program Application (GCPA) within MyGCLife will be entered into a lottery for $3000

Can I receive more than one Automatic Entrance Award at a time?
No, student鈥檚 can only receive one of the above automatic entrance awards at a time.
What is Georgian鈥檚 catchment area for the Stay Local to Save Automatic Entrance Award?
51视频鈥檚 main catchment area includes Simcoe County, Muskoka, Bruce County, Dufferin County and Grey County.
How do I calculate GPA?
51视频will look at the average of your six grade 12 U/M courses with the highest grade.
What is considered a 鈥渘ew鈥 program for the 51视频 New Program Entrance Award?
Any program without a graduating class is considered a 鈥渘ew鈥 program. Visit Georgian鈥檚 New Programs webpage to view a full list.
Do I need to apply for these awards?
No, you do not need to apply. You are automatically entered into a lottery if you confirm your offer to an eligible program by May 1.
Are these awards available to both domestic and international students?
No, the automatic entrance awards are only available to domestic students.
How and when do I find out if I was selected?
After May 1, successful recipients will be notified to their 51视频email.
If selected, when do I receive the money?
All payments are divided into 2 equal installments. Funds are distributed after Day 10 of semester 1 and 2, as per the important dates.
Schulich Builders: Scholarships for Skilled Trades
We rely on skilled trades to build and maintain the infrastructure of our cities and towns. Our challenge is not having enough of these talented people to meet the demands fueled by our growth.
The Schulich Builders program will combat the shortage of skilled trades workers in Ontario and amplify their importance and value to our community by awarding 120+ annual scholarships to the most promising candidates.
The Schulich Foundation launches Canada鈥檚 largest skilled trades scholarship program.
Schulich Builders are scholarships for students enrolling in an eligible, full-time skilled trades program at a participating college in Ontario.
Each participating college, including Georgian, will award 10 scholarships:
- Five for one-year certificate programs
- Five for two-year diploma programs
Valued at $40,000 ($20,000 per academic year), these scholarships support the costs of tuition, tools and living expenses.
