Course description
Students interact with clients and their families experiencing life transitions. These may include: mental health challenges, pregnancy and childbirth, pediatric and/or other life transitions. Students work in a variety of practice settings integrating theoretical knowledge to develop and then demonstrate a systematic approach to caring for the client鈥檚 unique needs. There is an opportunity for students to promote health and healing practices independently and in consultation.
