Course description

Students explore global economic inequality, gender-based violence, migration, and crimes against humanity. Focus is also given to the history, philosophy, development, and commitment to the enforcement of human rights by Canada and other international bodies. Students discuss Canadian and international rights, and the processes involved in exercising these rights, while exploring the debates around human rights through different lenses.
